Firemen

So this past weekend, Marc and I were home and a firetruck whizzed by our house in our neighborhood! I thought they were police sirens but Marc noticed the firetruck and told me about it. So what do I do? Shoot it, of course! :) I grabbed up my camera (still in house clothes! lol) and ran down the street to find the firetruck. I politely explained that I was taking a Photojournalism class at Cecil Community College and asked permissin to shoot. The firemen were extremely nice and told me I could shoot whatever I wanted. Some local kids wanted me to take their picture because they thought I was from a newspaper! It turned out to be a brush fire (looks like some kids set some books on fire near the edge of the woods in our neighbornhood) so there wasn't much action. I tried to focus on the the presence of the firemen instead, and focus less on the lack of action. Here's a couple of my favs:
